Imoto Lines Ltd. (Head office: Kobe City, Japan) has joined TradeLens as part of their internalization feeder service (iCOMS-Project) that is currently underway.
The three-year plan, which launched in 2017, focuses on the internalization feeder service electronic project (iCOMS-Project) based on the i concept (i stands for Imoto Integrated IT solutions). In April 2019, Imoto launched the Container Operation Management System (iCOMS) and are working to establish a new IT platform that integrates and manages coastal container vessels and container operations via the Internet.
Using TradeLens, we aim improve the efficiency of business operations between the carriers and container terminals, and to see drastic improvements in feeder service.
